Uma das melhores coisas que ouvi nos útlimos tempos. "Arbos", de Pärt, começa e termina o álbum homónimo, de 1987. A peça foi gravada pelo conjunto de metais da Staatsorchester Stuttgart (a orquestra sinfónica de Estugarda), sob a direcção do estadunidense Dennis Russel Davies.

Música erudita contemporânea

A música erudita é uma das coisas que a contemporaneidade não estragou completamente. É certo que a música erudita contemporânea muitas vezes integra géneros musicais bastante distantes. Aí as fronteiras, e até as distinções, entre música erudita e música popular encontram-se muito esbatidas, o que não impede que haja composições que despertem muito agrado. Nomes que ouço e retenho: Arvo Pärt, Craig Amstrong, Eurico Carrapatoso, John Cage, Luciano Berio, Ludovico Einaudi, Maurice Duruflé, Max Richter, Philip Glass, Rodrigo Leão, Simeon ten Holt, Yann Tiersen.  John Cage é o único que me provoca sentimentos contraditórios. Ainda não percebi se gosto.

A professora de Literatura Portuguesa Marcia Manir também participará na conversa moderada por Taty Leite. O livro colige textos de Teolinda sobre mulheres que, tendo sido publicados ao longo de 40 anos, são agora publicados pela primeira vez no Brasil, pela Oficina Raquel.
